Ellie's first basketball game

We were so proud of Ellie today!  Ellie had her first basketball game and she scored four out of the seven points made in the game.   Not only did she scored but she got a ton of rebounds, blocked out and stole some balls.  It was fun to watch her and her team.  The lost 7 to 17 but it was a great start.

She was always ready for the ball
I am not the best photographer because I forget to look out of the lens because I want to watch the play with my own eyes.  But Ellie made this shot, I just forgot to get her in the picture.

Halloween Party "2011"

Thank you Tiffani and Brad for hosting a wonderful Halloween Party!  We had a extraordinary time.  Not only was the food wonderful, the company and all of the games were even better.

A little wet, but she got it!
 NICE
 Matthew, giving it a try
 Still trying
Matthew kept taking bites of the apple as he was dipping his head.  He finally got one out with the help of his sister.  He did enjoy the apple.
SPIDERMAN!  This costume was Taylor's when he was Matthew's age.  Taylor wore it everywhere, to bed, under his clothes and daily wear.  It's still going strong with just a few holes in it!
 Carving Pumpkins

I guess Taylor is at the end of the era.  He ate the yummy food but didn't play the games.  Although, Tiff tried and tried to get him to.  Next time I think we aren't going to let him eat until he plays the games.  I think he had 12 pieces of Tri-tip.  His excuse was that he was so tired and sore from his football game.

Sunny Day

Wow it was a beautiful day today!  It is October 20 and it was 77 degrees outside.  Just perfect.  We played outside all afternoon with Matthew's new clearance (that's why it's pink) baseball and bat.  When ever I would get up out of my chair to fetch the ball Mia would steal the chair.  It was so cute.

First little pony in Mia's hair.  I did it this morning with a rubber band but the runner band fell out and her hair still stuck up.

Matthew is so excited for this bat and ball.

BLUE

Our night and Shining Armour, our man cheerleader, our mechanic, our bus driver, our teacher and our school janitor and most of all our good friend came by our house tonight on his beautiful white horse named Blue.  This is why I love to live in Gridley.  Thank you Mr. Santana for letting our kids ride your beautiful horse.

"P" is for Pumpkin Patch

Bishops Pumpkin Patch
Matthew and I are doing Mommy School together this year and we on the letter "P".  Matthew was so excited to get to this letter because he knew we were going on a field trip to the pumpkin patch.  We made Ellie skip school and come with us because we thought it would be more fun.  We begged T.J. to come with us but he wants to save his skip day for the Zoo.  Only 11 more letters to go before we get go to the ZOO!
Matthew loved feeding the little goats.  He was so excited he was running and jumping over the little baby goats.

All in All, we had a great day!
THE END

Rollerskating

The school dance was coming up and a girlfriend and I got an idea....an awful idea.  We didn't really want the girls to go to the dance and so we asked them individually, if they would rather do something fun with their moms (me).  We were taking a gander but Ellie said yes and so did her other friend.  It was funny, friends would ask her at school if she was going  to the dance and Ellie said, no my mom has something special planned for me.  The girls didn't know they would be doing something together.  So to Ellie's surprise, Shawna picked us up at 6:00 p.m. with Lorenza and then we went on to pick up Whitney.  They were so happy to be together it was awesome.  We then told them we were going Rollerskating and it was out of control after that.  We had lots of fun, laughing, falling and racing.  Shawna and I begged the girls to ask if they could play "Pour some sugar on me", apparently the song was to old.  They didn't have it on their play list!.  We were out way passed all the rest of the gang that went to the dance.
