My little Mia is crawling. We say crawling....she is trying to crawl and is getting places by crawling, scooting, sitting up and scooting and pushing herself along. She isn't fast yet but I am sure she will be soon. Mia started to make the motions of crawling about two weeks ago and last Monday the 23rd of May was her first real move. She usually crawls when we aren't paying attention to her and we wonder how she gets all the way across the room.
Mia is sitting up all by herself. It may not last for long and she does tumble over but she is sitting on her own. It is so fun to watch her achieve these little mile stones. Mia is so much fun to have around and she is always smiling.
Ellie came home from school today and asked if she could have a Lemonade Stand outside. Our neighbor had just given us some lemons. Ellie invited a friend over and they got to work making brownies, fresh squeezed lemonade (delicious), chocolate chip cookies and raspberry crystal light. I have to say it was a success. They earned well over $25.00 and they were only out there for about an hour. As soon as they started to set up all of the neighbors kids came out and wanted to help out. They made signs, set up stations to advertise and helped promote the lemonade stand. It was great!!!!

Some of the girls, I didn't get them all, they were holding up signs down the streets
Nice set up. They had a umbrella stand but no umbrella cover. The girls tried to put a tarp up on top but it blew away so they gave up. Neighbors might have felt sorry for us (ha ha ha ha ha)
The girls ran out of everything and had a great time! I love spontaneous adventures
This is my little Mia. My mom took these pictures today and they were so cute! Mia just had her 6 month appointment yesterday (she is actually 6 1/2 months). She weighs 14 lbs 13oz and is 26 inches long. Mia is just starting to eat some rice cereal and enjoys a bite of applesauce once in a while. She does eat some of those puff things and some baby yogurt bites. Most of them are found in her high chair rather than going to her mouth. She started sitting up by herself this past week (March 28) and loves to roll over and over and over.
I can not believe I have a teenager in the house. Taylor turned the big "13" yesterday. I made his favorite pancakes with chocolate chips in them, whipped cream and Hershey syrup. I also wrapped him up in crepe paper the night before so when he woke up he was stuck. I took him Ice Burgie for lunch and he wanted Pizza and Salad for dinner. I think Grant is going to take him out to his favorite restaurant this Friday. We had a small family party which was fun.
Teaching Ellie some wrestling moves
Taylor teaching Matthew some wrestling moves
The Big Match. I think in this picture Grant is teaching Taylor some wrestling moves.
Taylor got some balloons from a good friend at school. He thought they were from me so he didn't bother to open the card, until someone told him who they were from. In the other hand he is holding a new camping shovel.
Matthew was so excited for Taylor to open his presents. He asked me at least 30 times during the day, "When can T.J. open his presents?"
In door basketball..Something I think Grant wanted him to have so he could play church ball with him twice a week.
Strawberry cream cheese pie was his request and it was granted of course!
I love this picture of his grandparents giving him a great big hug!
Taylor received some A.E. clothes, indoor basketball, camping shovel, Kendal case, Dart Board and some T-shirts. Happy Birthday my Boy

3 MONTHS OLD Where has the time gone...Mia is three months old today! She smiles all of the time and started laughing two weeks ago. We tickle her around her neck and she laughs. Mia is holding her head up so well and still does not take a pacifier. We are not giving up. Mia is our first good sleeper and is sleeping through the night for the most part and loves to be held.
We had a wonderful day yesterday. It was filled with family and lots of love. Mia was blessed. Grant said a wonderful blessing. He is getting more and more emotional with each child of ours. Bryan and his family came along with my brother and his family, my parents and grandpa. It rained all morning so we moved the get together after church inside which worked out great. We put the kids out in the garage with tables set up. My mom and I made a assortment of soups, salads, rolls and lots of deserts. I love my family and I am so thankful for the gospel!
