The Gift

This may not be to exciting for you but this stove is a dream. My oven went out 4 months ago, my range was still working. The kids really missed the bread, cinnamon rolls, cookies and any other treat you can think of that can come out of an oven. I also missed be able to cook with it but I was able to live with out and it wasn't that big a deal. In the mean time we were trying to save money (you know how that goes) and in the end we were not able to save any because so many other things came up like brakes, tires, car renewal ect...... We wanted to buy the stove with cash not credit card so we were just going to wait patiently. My parents called us from Lowe's and said there is a great deal on a Stainless Steel Gas Stove and we would like to buy you one. Taken back I said I would talk to Grant. After a short discussion, we got back to them and said we appreciated the awesome thought but would like to buy the stove when we had enough saved up(what was I crazy!!!) In the mean time Grant and I had been praying for things to work out and that our family would have what we needed. Our prayers were being answered yet, we were not able to accept it. To make a long story even longer we learned a lesson of how to be grateful, gracious, and humble. I am so thankful to them and their desire to make my family happy. Thanks

Grant got it all set up tonight and it works great! Thanks again Mom and Dad. I love you!

Matthew and I

Remove Formatting from selection
I don't get into to many photo's with the family because you know....I am always taking the picture so my sweet hubby decided to take a few of Matthew and I. Not the best but I am not going to complain.

Lake Tahoe

I love the above picture. Grant and Matthew walking across a bridge in Lake Tahoe!

T.J. was mad because I was taking to many pictures...The purpose of so many pictures is because T.J. and Ellie are staying a week up with my parents in Lake Tahoe. They are going to have so much fun, but boy will I miss them. This will be the longest they have been away from Grant and I ever. My parents have so many fun things planned I am sure they will not miss us. Matthew has already asked for them 4 times and it's only been 4 hours. I think Matthew is going to very bored just hanging out with mom.

We had a great time this past weekend and can't wait to see the kids on Saturday!

Meow

Matthew wanted to try and look like Ellie, Close Uh!!!!
Ellie and T.J. are involved with a town play called the "Pied Piper". Ellie is a towns child and T.J. is a cook. After practice they have workshops and todays was on "Theatre Makeup". Ellie is a dark gray cat, I thought she looked adorable.

Ellie is my animal lover and loves her cats Wilbur and Miss Betsie. Maybe this is where she got her inspiration.

Hands Up

I am proud to say that Matthew my 2 in half year old can say "Hands Up" while pressing his toy gun in all of our arm pits. We are so happy he can say two more words in his very limited vocabulary.

Love this kid!

Summer of Swim Team

This year was T.J.'s first year on the Gridley Swim Team. His only reason to be on the team was to get stronger and in the end he did do that but he also learned how to be a great swimmer. It was fun to watch him get better as the summer went on. I am sad it is over.
What a great dive!

Competing in Breast Stroke. I believe he got third place in this event.
